Agree - FMG is trading on a forward PE (FY24) of 11x and it has much more depth to its earnings than MGX.
However, on the flip side, if we apply the same view to MGX, we are presently probably looking at FY24 earnings of about 20cps (circa $240m after tax - subject to how FX and commodity price plays out in FY24, but I am using a CFR price of US113/t and exchange rate of 0.70) and so even if we apply a PE of 7x to this, then we are talking of a prospective $1.40 share price.
