One of the reasons Joel mentioned the price didn't take off in the US was arbitrage with the ASX.

I posed the question earlier, if the stock is such a good buy why don't the US investors buy on the ASX like we are being asked to do on the NASDAQ with this change.

Can someone explain to me the how this arbitrage works in this case. My understanding for arbitrage to be an issue is someone is buying and selling on both exchanges? And if that's the case why can't the buy on the ASX?

There has to be more to this. ie are US funds wanting to buy loads restricted to US companies, is there tax issues for the US investors?

Also another dumb question but how does liquidity improve when trading hours are 11.30pm-6am. 75% of the company shareholders are sleeping when these guys are trying to buy. I realize that's very simplistic but that's a n issue for us Aussie retail investors.
