It actually says on the announcement that he was formerly a director and no longer is.... so not sure how you have come up with him getting a more senior position there?
Sorrento's Initial notice is now signed by Kevin Berry (Director)
If you go back to older notices it shows that previously Tom signed as the Director
Very unsure as to what has happened here but it appears to me he no long a shareholder and definitely not a Director at Sorrento which means something is/has happend
