In after-hours trading Acadia is now up to $31.7 a share. That's an increase in market cap of US$0.96b = AU$1.4 billion.
Meanwhile, lame duck Neuren has risen just $1,59 a share - can't even reach the $15 it was just weeks ago. This $1.59 a share is a market cap increase of AU$200 million - less than one seventh Acadias increase!
Neuren is easily worth AU$2 billion just on Acadia deal for Trof North America. So the market currently values Neuren's other opportunities plus this deal (including US$100 million up front cash) at -AU$300 million.
The sooner Acadia do a share swap with Neuren and we get US listed shares (instead of the wet blanket ASX) the better!
Am underwhelmed...
