Rather than all the garbage bandied about re carbon reduction schemes, taxing carbon emissions and emissions trading - which I think are all ridiculous. Why not just tax power companies at a much lower rate for power that is from non polluting renewable power generation such as wave, wind and solar thermal?
Why wouldnt that work? Wouldn't that encourage investors and business people to invest in these technologies?
