So, I'm not sure I can add much to your thoughts here Tradingday but here's a little information for your amusement.

Personally I hate monthly charts but this is a little interesting but just takes ages to play out.

On the below chart you can obviously see the trends both up and down. For investors of the loooong nature, then this displays the magnificent rise from 15 cents to nearly $20 all above the bollie median line. Then it rolled over dramatically back to 1 dorra.
The blue circles displays the official change of trend.
My point to all this is that what's interesting is that you can clearly see that it's reversing back up. A crossing at the green circle would be very bullish in combination of the SP closing above the bollie median line. IMO.
But of course this is monthly data so how long is that going to take? Snail mail stuff IMO.



Now coming back out of the cobwebs to a weekly you will see that after the massive retrace, the SP has already resumed trading above the bollie median line ( a must for any investor entry). This began in May. Keep it in that channel between the bollie median and the upper bollie and all will be happy as the SP can only move upwards.



I'm not sure this info has helped you at all Tradingday nor what you can glean from it but I'll add this. Very important to know that when working with BB's, a squeeze indicates that a change in direction is incoming and the bulge is basically the result of that change. Therefore keep an eye on the bands to give you a clue on direction.
