Every Victorian who votes for Daniel Andrews and his morally bankrupt Victorian Labor Party implicity endorses a nanny state.
It's amazing how few listed (and unlisted family) companies are prepared to speak out against Victorian Labor's huge financial mismanagement.
Every Australian will directly, or indirectly, pay for the A$220 billion in debt to which Victoria is heading: Queensland and NSW aren't impressive either, but they're better than 'Locktoria'.
It's amazing that EDV doesn't publicly highlight how much tax it pays annually, and how much its hotels contribute to the Victorian and Oz economies.
However one has to acknowledge there may be much work going on behind the scenes.
Daniel Andrews is mad, because Victoria needs the revenue from poker machines. What evidence is there to suggest tens of thousands of Australians are financially crippled due to over reliance on gambling? Most enjoy a flutter, an integral part of Australian social activities since the days of NSW's Rum Corps.
