Now that I have read many of your posts, I will give you my thoughts. Since I did not go to the EGM today & have no transcript of what was said, I have to go by what others forum members have said.
I am a bit surprised by how many pre meeting negative nancys seem to be fairly satisfied with the info/answers that were told. In my opinion, I am more worried now than before. My reasoning is that the $200 million cap raise was done (not by a unanimous board) when it was done because they just wanted to make sure they had flexibility for any unforeseen circumstances. Maybe one unforeseen circumstance might be that we are selling our 15,000 by way of spot price. Are we talking about the Spodumene Concentrate (6%,CIF China) Price, USD/mt? If so the price has been steady going down since 1st of July (now $3560 from $4000 at start of July). Oh! by the way that is for 6% & not for 5.5% which I believe we have. Spot price selling is nice when prices are way up, but what if they keep going down (at least in near future when we are selling it that way)?
Another concern is we do not have a so-called Marlin locked in (yet)? They are working on it is there response. We have been hearing this for a while now haven't we? Everything is hush hush, hearsay, wink of the eye, & smiles. Nothing in writing.
What made some of you change your minds? What was discussed at the EGM that gave you so much optimism? Was it more big news coming talk. Was it the spot price selling? I really would like to know what BL & PC did/say that deserved the 10 million shares. Just think about it this way, how many shares does BL have now? I think I read (maybe wrong) that he has 165 million shares. If he sold out today at .18c, he would be worth $29,700,000. That doesn't include his annual pay of what, $700,000 & other perks.
All I got to say is that if you are "going to talk the talk, you better be able to walk the walk".
Everyone feel free to criticize my remarks all you want, but, I am a little pizzzed right now.
If todays news was so great, why is our share price down another 4%? And before anyone says the whole sector is down today, other miners are not down as much as we are. That is my 2 cents & will probably have to take a couple of days off from HC to cool down. GLTAH.
