I think you’re slightly confused in regards to the motivation of those who are promoting the rejection of this Labor Voice idea.

Our current government has decided to add another layer of representation to the existing layers of aboriginal representation in the hope that this will somehow improve the outcomes for our aboriginal brothers and sisters.

It is very light on any details as to how it will improve the lives of those people, they are not suggesting that they are going to take away any of the existing voices (that as you say “are not working “ and they can’t even explain exactly what their Voice plan is.

Those who are pushing the No Vote are not suggesting anything other than “Labor’s Voice” is not what they consider to be an effective way to produce a better result for those brothers and sisters.

It doesn’t suggest that there shouldn’t be any change or that there is no need for a fresh approach just that this one is Bat crap crazy and it is more likely to produce a negative result for our country and everyone in it.
