    evening all,

i've been watching this one carefully as i have some experience in engineering & construction industry; particularly in respect of construction villages & non process building contracts.

this company has had issues with delivering to schedule and achieving quality requirements for a few years now. ie over promise/ under deliver. it was for these reasons that i stayed well away from these guys. that said i've recently gone and bought some over the last week or so.

basically i reckon that they are now priced well enough to take the risk that they will (just?) get over their cash flow issues. from there they really do have a chance to get going again. mining companies are back looking at con camps inland and other associated prefabbed non process infrastructure. the pool of potential contractors in this space was always small and with companies like decmil wanting to focus more on civil works and with ausco not really delivering either then why not believe that nomad will pick up some of the tender work that is going to start flowing again.

bottom line - risk exists, but shares are cheap enough to take an educated guess that they will win more work in the short to medium term.

    good luck to all
