    Assuming they are allowed to sell it under their MDL, which share_guru is doubtful of.

    Someone check my numbers here.

    30MW for one year is 262800MWh. Dividing this into $12M gives about $46/MWh. Isn't this too high? I thought average contract power sales (ie not spot market) in Queensland were around $25/MWh.

    Using this figure the revenue would be $6.6M.

    Also, does anyone know what the costs of generating 30MW (opex, not including capex) are for a natural gas-fired plant? Cougar has said several times that UCG will operate at a discount to natural gas, so if we can find out the margins for natural gas we should be able to calculate roughly what Cougar's net profit for a 30MW plant would be.

    Dex? ff? HM? Anybody?
