I’m not a geologist and I’ve been trying to understand sedimentary copper deposits.
What I can’t understand is how can the deep target at storm be so thick?
Should it not be a flat sheet 1 to 3m, perhaps bulging upto 30m, but certainly not hundreds of m.
Is it limited permeability from a near vertical fault line conduit?
Would multiple deposition events layer on top of each other?
Is it thicker because there’s a red bed or some other type of deposit underneath?
