Butcherboy, I expect that you hold your views strongly and would like to win over the skeptics to your point of view.
If your logic is correct and your view is right then I wish you well. However you haven't won me over although I like to think I am open minded.
Might I suggest that rather than think of skeptics as malign or in the pay of some forces of evil that you give people the benefit of the doubt. Most skeptics are good people but have a different view to you.
Catagorisation, assocation with evil or name calling just gets peoples backs up. I think it was this mistake by the AGW lobby which has resulted in entrenched positions on both sides. The lines of those trenches is now close to the usual left and right battlelines. Some people are in very deep bunkers now.
If there is strength in your argument make the argument politely, succinctly and powerfully. Our traditions of polite discussion and debate are the best way to bring the optimum position out.
