Barring negative macro factors I feel that CNB will be given serious consideration as a TO target soon after MRE is released.

The logic being that senior copper miners must secure a reliable pipeline of deposits up to a certain future horizon. So if CNB resources are confirmed as sound and quantifiable then it should become an immediate takeover target. Furthermore, given the number of undrilled targets still to be explored it would make sense for suitors to takeover the company at NPV before further potential upside is discovered. They would look to minimise downside by investing into the known resource and then attempt to unlock further potential for themselves instead of waiting and having to pay more.

My hunch is that we will be looking at a bid within 6 months of MRE. People better at numbers than me could possibly forecast what that bid might look like if it does come in that time frame.
