I don't think the answer is in the quarterlies mate. You won't find logic there either. The shock and awe factor on NST have been amazing against the backdrop of the good fundamentals reported and gold price tailwind.
I think it is as simple as its NST's turn to be the whipping boy. I can see a pattern here. It was EVNs turn last year (-20% on the back of a -1% missed guidance). NCM the year before that...
