Like many in the political middle I don't think we should making vague and open-ended constitutional changes with unknowable consequences, but at the same time I recognise that Aboriginal people need a "Voice" to speak to those in power making decisions about their lives. We are being placed in the terrible position of having to turn our backs on Aboriginal people's aspirations for a better life because a bunch of radicals have proposed a Trojan horse of an amendment that nobody who cares about Australia's future can support.

To solve this dilemma, I have a simple suggestion. Vote "No" to the proposed amendment and then write the word "Yes" on the back of ballot paper. We can send a strong message to government that you support your fellow citizens, but not the change the radicals are proposing.
