The REIT sector in Japan is surely recovering, IMHO. However it will be a long and bumpy road.

AJA is the largest holding in my portfolio, and probably the one with the highest leverage (at asset level). There are many bargains around, but at 31c, AJA is just too tempting. :)

May I ask which renewable energy share you're interested in? I have a very small position in MBT, I do think the industry has a bright future, but it's very difficult to value the companies.
