He needs to work on it. Last year was forgivable for the reasons many have given here. But to repeat and set up for failure by leaving the preso to the last minute the night prior, not have a generic power point or verbal rehearsal at the ready in case of tech failure, not be clear on what you want to convey etc etc just doesnt cut the mustard these days.

I think it was a presenter from Blackstone got up and first thing said something like "there's three things I want to cover off today"... I did that presentation course (2 days) about 20 years ago and clearly it still works to some extent, I still use some of the techniques I learnt back then. PH gets up and stumbled around about things he likes, a basic rule is to put yourself in the place of your audience and convey your message in a way they will understand and talk to things they like.

PH has wisely invested in his legal and geo skills and I am a big fan of his efforts in terms of his work, but not investing 2 or 3 days to do a simple presentation course or seek a mentor out to help with presentation prep, planning and delivery isn't just selling the company short, its selling himself short.

@CopperSpots reading your posts im pretty sure your email to PH would have been constructive - Can you share the general thoughts in the reply if you (& PH) wouldn't mind. Id be keen to understand if he intends to get this addressed.
