And the interesting thing is Redflow think we can do better than the basic 0.6 power rule for some parts, my understanding is more like 0.1 with the pump and power systems. Other components may not come off quite so well, for example the area of of the electrode stack and amount of ZnBr solution but there might be cost downs with volume, maybe one day, perhaps by the time the Paskenta Rancheria project is complete, we'll get some idea.

The opportunity/need to develop along the lines of the 0.6 power rule have only arisen as larger systems are needed and scoped, think Energy Qld, they have a view into future directions with the MOU. It sounds like the Paskenta Rancheria project will allow for the development of somewhat larger than 200 kWh EnergyPods.

We do have a qualified ZnBr supplier in the USA now. Just how that will fit in, perhaps time will tell.

Just for comparison when it comes to component module sizes with one US ZnBr battery supplier.

EOS Energy, picking this current offering, the 500kWh-rated (Maximum Delivered Energy 460 kWh) Eos Cube contains 144 Eos ZnythTM 2.3 battery modules.

460/144 = 3.19 kWh stored per individual Zynth 2.3 battery module. So I guess they could do better too if they want to.

    From https://www.eose.com/solutions/eos-cube/

Yes they are cost attractive to customers but EOS Energy are still supplying at less than cost of production too, by a reducing margin over time. Eventually as mass production increases they plan to turn that around, most recently with assistance from a USD $40 million capital raise plus, maybe, a significant loan from the DOE.

There is a new product replacing the Zynth 2.3, the Eos Z3, cheaper to manufacture, almost here but the actual energy storage capacity is not easy for me to figure out.
