But we import every panel & windturbine which is on a constant renewable/replacement program & we dont have batteries to cover the gap.
So until 'green' can supply all the power (dont forget balancing & new powerlines & the increased line manintenance)..all of which WILL Not reduce power costs.
THEN take into account every other item that depends on fossil fuel (excluding power).
All of those items from plastics to pharma ect will simply cost more for which there is simply not substitute...there is no economic benefit here.
We need to do MORE with lLESS Not rape the planet to capyure diffuse power
