Given what we have been told so far, it looks to be a major change in strategy. The EMD AML trial is to undergo a major change to focus on r/r AML alone and the cardioprotection observation trial has been cancelled. This last step suggests that the cardioprotection trial must have been significantly changed.
One final hint of things to come has been the mention of US trials. This previously was not on the table.
