Lappy, I can top that. North East Link tunnellers will receive up to $320k per annum based on new enterprise agreement negotiated with the AWU and the state government. This means whichever company is awarded the tunnelling contract they are stuck with these rates. This was negotiation was finalised over the last couple of months.
The AWU representative had a session on 3AW either Neil Mitchell or Tom Elliott and spent about 10 minutes going through the award and its conditions.
No wonder Andrews has bankrupted Victoria with deals like that.
