If - if - if... who knows the future? - I don't, we'll all have to wait for the measurements won't we.

An SG of 0.8 is 45 API... is that just your rouding there?
"if" we get 38 API (0.83 SG) it will "maybe stunning to say the least"
Given that 38 API was a reading made by CUPET historically,
the potential result is a measured possibility (still to be determined)
and not purely due to pure "magic" ... it will due to having made their own luck.

No I don't mean any water zone,
they were experiencing influxes of hydrocarbons into the well bore through out Alameda and Marti
and had to increase mud weight accordingly.... from 1.54 to 1.73 ultimately these were insufficient to maintain well control and
they had to increase again to 1.88 (1.88 at that depth reported at the time is close the specification limit of the 10,000psi BOP).


Read through the announcements during drilling of Alameda-1 and Marti,
in particular annoucements 07FEB22, 24FEB22 and the 09MAR22.
