Hi,
I get that you're looking at this with a critical eye which is good, however, like Mr.M I also interpreted several posts the same way, as I felt you made several inaccurate statements or comments, and maybe because of my understanding of this company, I also didn't appreciate.
Quite a number of us have been on this PWN journey for several years now and believe we have a good grasp of what this company is trying to achieve. We're not wearing rose coloured glasses, just like to believe that we have a sound understanding of PWN's process to commercialise their tech as well as the risks of it not succeeding.
Reading your posts, I feel you should conduct further research especially on this novel technology and the specific issue at hand. I recommend first reading the company ANN's from the 2nd half of 2019 onwards, reading this thread in its entirety as well as threads created by Mr.M where he provides feedback from his one-on-one discussions with the MD and then also watch the interviews via their website.
The following websites should also be of benefit:
Coal seam gas water | Environment | Department of Environment and Science, Queensland (des.qld.gov.au)
Coal Seam Gas Brine Management Action Plan (des.qld.gov.au)
Queensland Gas: end-to-end water use, supply and management - Report - 2018: the voice of Australia's oil and gas industry (des.qld.gov.au)
Hopefully this provides you with some of the answers you're looking for.
Your last question regarding desal projects highlights your need to further research as there are no projects currently in the world (that I'm aware of) that generates salable products (let alone high-grade caustic soda, lime etc) through the treatment of CSG brine.
Desalination only means the removal of salt from water, which there are thousands of desal plants around the world that do this... which are thereby creating a salt legacies around the world.
Parkway are looking to assist the QLD CSG industry and Gov't to avoid this from happening here. IF they succeed then it's highly likely that they seek to assist other states and countries that have the same CSC brine issue.
Best of luck.
