just for curiosity lets say there was a take-over bid of $1.50
the acquiring company would ofcourse want to scoop up as many shares at this price instead of paying 5x at 1.50
in this situation, the share price would have a noticeable increase prior to acquiring
alternatively, i think a lot of the short term holders would happily accept an offer of 0.7+ and the acquiring company would likely start around there.
what % of shares do management hold? i think they would be opposed to selling out to offers less than $1 tho and they may have the deciding share
