I’m certainly not going to argue that our planet doesn’t have extreme weather events or that it is any fun being caught in one but perhaps you could provide a link to a verifiable scientific paper/study that provides evidence that we have seen an increase in Extreme Weather events or that the intensity of these events have increased.

I certainly wouldn’t ask you to provide proof of this happening in the future, obviously but your comment/statement (along with so many others that make similar claims) is that we are already seeing the intensity of these events increasing and that there are more extreme weather events now due to AGW, CC, GW or whatever you feel happy with calling it this week.

You often call me a science denier but I’m not, perhaps you could blame my father in law for explaining the basic principles of Good Science and highlighting how easy it is for science to be manipulated or misunderstood.

Here’s a chance for you to shine.
At the very least you should be able to find a meteorological source of repute that has a graph explaining how we’ve had more cyclones, floods or storms over the last decade or two?

Perhaps even an insurance company report providing information that shows an increase in those extreme weather events, would do.

PS A random reporter/news service pumping “If’s possibly, maybes” won’t qualify as proof by the way” it needs to be scientifically verified and directly from the BoM, NASA or something similar.

What’s the point if you don’t research yourself?
