With approvals in place for LNG and pipeline gas expansion, the Pluto LNG Project has been designed to "aggregate" gas from the "CARNARVON BASIN".

It does not say from the "Pluto field" is says from the "Carnarvon basin"

The MEO website also shows a planned a pipe line th wheatstone.

It's a very simple point.
Why develop a expensive field, when you have much, much cheaper options first.

Best case, Caterina will not be developed until the second train. 2013.
Even though Woodside are saying that the extension of the trains will come from Pluto.

Gas supply for expansion continues to be focused on equity gas with the first four of six wells in the Pluto.

Next trains 2014-2017.

Woodsides plan is simple.

Go after the sweet spots first. Get gas from others next. And once the money is rolling in, develop the more expensive fields by locking them in now.

Note that the train in 2017 is for the timor sea gas from FLNG.

This has been my concern about Caterina. That woodside will sit on it for years.
They only have to drill one well, and will be the operator.

Woodside do not need gas for the first two trains as stated on their website.

Woodside would want to get the money rolling in to recover costs of the trains 1-2.
The 3 train is the only train that mite take gas from Caterina. And if they can get it from a cheaper source, then you can bet that, that is what they will do.
I think is was reflected in price Woodside paid for it.

Best way forward for CUE, is Artemis, as Petrobras will develop it very quickly.
And now WA361-p.( if gas)

This will happen in the next 1-2 years, not 3-7 years.
