I really don't think CUE is likely to grab their share mid ocean, more likely onshore imho, in the event that they even decided to opt out of the integrated LNG JV. There would already be a arrangement in the JVOA covering joint development of the field. It did not however include processing to LNG, which is where the proposed side agreements etc came into the picture.

Let's just let them get on, and find the gas, before we worry further about how they develop it. A discovery at either would be great for CUE. Whether WPL is even interested in CUE's (or anyone else's) share of any Artemis gas will no doubt be very dependent on the outcome of their current exploration program, however Petrobras likely to be dead keen to have CUE in any integrated LNG development.
