The irony is the better the prospect of a drug, the less people understand the potential. If you have the 50th anti-PD1 antibody then everyone know what you have even if the commercial potential is limited. If you have a drug on the cutting edge then few will understand why it is so compelling, despite the commercial prospects being outstanding.
The good news is good clinical data changes all this.
