Antares is excited to announce the successful Frances Dilworth No. 4H is flowing to sales while still ?cleaning up? on a restricted 14/64? choke. This is the first well to utilize 100% higher strength proppants as well as a restricted rate flowback.
Higher strength proppants were used to create a more conductive path from the reservoir to the wellbore which enables oil and gas to be produced more easily. The goals of the restricted rate flowback are to allow for higher sustained, stabilized production rates for a longer period of time, as well as higher ultimate recoveries while avoiding steep initial decline rates experienced in more traditional flowbacks.
To date, the results of the restricted rate flowback are very encouraging.
The upcoming Quarterly Report will provide all available results for the Frances Dilworth Nos. 2H, 3H and 4H. Inclusive in the Quarterly Report will be robust economic modelling data for the Yellow Rose and Bluebonnet projects as well as ?type curves? showing oil and gas flow rates throughout the life of a project well.
Additionally, drilling operations have commenced on the Frances Dilworth No. 6H with the well currently at a measured depth of over 3,000 ft. The well is projected to be drilled to a measured depth of over 14,500 ft including a lateral of approximately 4,000 ft within the Eagle Ford shale.
