Thanks for the clarification on the time frame. I guess I actually didn't research this one well enough. I didn't know that Rio is not in such a hurry and is still decades away from production, i.e. not until 2043. Then everything fits. If AGY starts producing 10,000 ktpa in 2027 and I assume a mine life of 16 years, they'll be done in 2043. That's the silver bullet! There will be no competition for the same resource because the two have simply agreed to produce one after the other. This kind of brilliant information is what makes a forum exchange so valuable to me, thanks again. Sorry, I could have thought of that myself.
