Yep, that is true re fees, and fair point re LICs that perform reasonably well but still trade at discounts. I still wouldn't be jumping in at IPO though, prefer to wait until the dust settles and see what sort of discount it might naturally trade at (if any). It could well jump to a premium initially, depending on the initial interest and hype.
