Or could it be you're hanging on despite being under water 20% because you'll incur a sizeable loss otherwise? That's the boat that I'm in. I'll take an AUD 15,000 hit (or roughly that) if I sell now. Now I'm just sitting on a paper loss, and I don't want it to turn into a real loss. But there is also a persuasive argument TO hang on. So I'm in two minds about this company. Acting hastily is never a good thing, even if you feel compelled to do so. So, I too am hanging on. By default, more than anything else.
