Exactly, so no bailouts, then? Bankwest was not one of the Big 4 on the planet that I live on.
regarding yhe ‘bank guarantee’, it was not requested, but imposed by the Govt at a cost to the banks. So still not a bailout, a political stunt to make the Govt look like it was holding it all together.
