Okay Chilli, humour me for a minute with a scenario. I think a particular stock represents good value and I'm keen to buy it. I put my initial order on at market with a view to layering in the balance my order over time. my initial order gets filled quickly! Do I...
A. reload at the same level, get filled again and reload at the same price, OR
B. reload at a lower level to see if I get my order filled there, get filled, reload at lower level etc. to layer in my buying to achieve the best average entry price I can.
if I go with B. it doesn't mean I think the stock is worth less. my investment thesis is what it is, I'm just trying to enter as low as I can.
