It's really very simple. I don't want anymore freeloaders in OZ, as we have too many homegrown ones already.

And why shouldn't I be cautious (afraid is your word) of people who come to our shores uninvited and who deliberatly discard their ID papers.

You must be very naive!

I have a number of questions of these people

- do they speak our language;

- do they have a skill that we need;

- why didn't they stay in another country on their way to OZ;

- do they have any contagious disease;

- do they believe in the tolerant lifstyle of OZ, especially in relation to religious practices;

- do they believe in freedom of speech;

- do they believe in the emancipation of women.
