Mr Swan says the economic statement confirms things are on track for a $3.1 billion budget surplus in three years' time, three years earlier than expected and before every other major advanced economy.

"Despite all of the uncertainty in the global economy, we can be confident about our future" he says.

(I thnk he is talking about his and Gillards future when saying "we" and "our". Their great big Super payout is guaranteed!)

Inflation is a little higher than forecast, with slightly slower growth and no change to unemployment.

So Traesuere W Goose descrides the inflation figure Labor has created; "a little higher than forecast". Regarding economic Growth; "slightly slower than forecast".

Unemployment hasn't changed he said, as he hasn't figured out the word to describe "soaring" in Labor speak.

Can't wait for the spin to describe the deficit blowout with the budget no where near surplus in three years, maybe "we didn't quite get that one right either did we, it's only money anyway".
The only forecast he will have got right is his and Gillards Superannuation payout.
