I doubt much thinking went into the implications of the QR. It is what it is. Maybe it's a "rip the band aid off" moment, maybe it isn't.
Imo the only real short to medium term hope is a TO. Otherwise be prepared to hold for 12+ months to get out of this hole. And for it to get worse before it starts to get better.
