The best way forward I beleive,

Immediate injection of funds,

I would like to see a 1 for 1 rights issue.
Although we dilute our holdings (if you dont take up the offer that is) there will be a larger dilution if La Jolle continue down there conversion path (at 20% discount) and significant pressure on the share price as they dump.

At 3c (current SP) with a fully underwritten rights issue by Deco they would raise 3-4 million worst case scenario (enough for drilling and working capital). Best case scenario share price may appreciate substantially prior to rights issue date and surplus funding applied to project development.

Prior to rights issue closing date to determine issue price give the market and SP a significant lift by
(i) Dangling the carrot of the deep drilling to be completed first with the big pumpkin theory to be tested.
(ii) Deco to go gurantor on the project funding (along as copper price remains viable surely milk money for this lot). This would take out much of the speculative risk as going into production WILL happen.

Deco time to step up to the plate, You have the clout, You have the power now make it happen for all us long suffering holders.

Oh yeah while your at it must be time for Bruce Morrin to be shown the doornot sure why you would continue to pay someone to lose the sort of value this stock has.
Im sure with the new MD of Sterling in place and no doubt reviewing matters the pace should pick up soon.
