Looks like option 2 on your list. I emailed AGY earlier today to ask if we can expect a monthly update, and if not, a clarification of the reason for the change in communication strategy. The response I received a few minutes ago is as follows (direct quote, pleasantries removed):
"On the monthly update announcement, this wasn’t released today as there was no new/material information associated with such, and as per ASX regulations, we will make such announcements as material information is ready. Basically there is no further news to announce today from what has been provided in recent announcements, including Monday’s quarterly report."
