The U.S Facility will be able to process feedstock from other sources if / when they become available and are qualified
From The Lynas announcement RE the US plant .
Lynas brought the land 149 acres and the Americans are helping to pay for plant .
Apparently 8000 tonne a year produced heavy and light rare earth elements .
The plant does not sound that expensive US$258 mill
To be honest I would not be surprised if a large investor wanted MEI to have a plant in Brazil that could do both wash /process and have a end product .The huge Oil and Gas countries are looking to diversify .
