Maybe the advice around the board table is to try to sand bag the share price with dividend yield, or the CEO wants income on his pile of shares or both. Clearly pivoting to a buy back with shares trading at or below NTA is more desirable use of capital than talking about high payout ratios of NPAT that will halve. Would be nice to buy back all the shares issued to management over the last few years at these price levels.
