Per capita blah blah means nothing - it's all part of the inflated illusion. Europe genuinely is in a mess. Industry is dying and they have no natural resources of significance. Their governments are on a mission to cut farming and they are suffering mass immigration (which precedes Ukraine), depopulation and disgusting woke agendas
I doubt China, or whoever could possibly stand to benefit from such conditions in Europe and America, could have engineered a better position for themselves. But stay in denial if it makes you feel safe and cosy
