Hi Master Volt,
Rob taught me to hedge, now adays I only do the ASX 50 stocks. So when we long shares overnight, and if the Dow decides to tank, we can short the DOW and hedge against the long. Means we can take the money out of the market anytime without sitting like a duck in the open. I think this is a great plan.
For example if long CBA, BHP, and dow breaks support like last night, then go short the DOW, means we could exit the market even the market is close here. DOW looks more than likely will have a bounce at 10000 Bank of America down 9% that's silly, that's overkilled in my opinion. I think tomorrow the first hour will say alot.
And I have to agree with you on the index. The more I do the index, the more I like it, hehe...as with the index I don't have to worry about the Vol. You can scalp alot easier, I think.
Thanks for your post and respond, good talking to you, my brother!
