    Setting aside the frivolity of this thread, your post sounds poignant and sincere.

    You ask if Christ took all this pain and suffering away from us, why do I still suffer?

    Christ took away social alienation & personal guilt. He offered people a sense of belonging, forgiveness and love; and a second chance.

    But Christ cannot take away the neurological pain related to the decay and imperfection of the physical body.

    There is pain, which is neurological, which is felt as discomfort.

    Then there is mental suffering, which is born of mental thinking, added onto the physical pain.

    Your mind suffers due to not understanding and accepting the imperfection of the physical or worldly condition.
