Federal government spends $33.3Billion every year on Aboriginals...housing, health, education etc
~3% of the Australian population identifies as Aboriginal or torres straight islander
or around 900,000 people
if we say 100,000 of those are successful wealthy aboriginals like stan grant....then that leaves around 800,000 that need assistance.
$33.3b divided by 800k people
is approximately $41,000 for every man woman child
therfore a family of
3 ~$120,000 per year
4 ~160,000 per year
5 ~200,000 per year
and the above is just Federal government spend. there are also numerous state government funding schemes.
