I've had 4, I work in a high risk environment.

I also worked in ICU when Covid first came to Australia, so I got to see it fill up with intubated middle aged men.

I got to see us open up an extended ICU in theatres, after borrowing ventilators to increase our capacity. That was fun.

I got to see these people getting proned, deteriorating, dying without being able to see loved ones. All from behind my face shield.

And later during the pandemic, when I was back in emergency, I got to see how few people would get properly sick from Covid and, when they did, they were often unvaccinated.

That's anecdotal evidence. That's weak evidence. There's good, strong evidence available if you look. But that anecdotal evidence was pretty striking when experienced first hand.

I've also seen the I'll effects of vaccines, and let me tell you I'll take a bit of vaccine induced pericarditis over Covid ARDS any day of the week.
