PLV is small. But not as small as was once thought re resource size....as we all know.

This project generated interest from originally 13-14 parties as stated by the company.
That was 'before' the recent upgrades and it seems the continual data that supports not only a larger resource, but one already outside of the original estimated resource area.

IO may be lower in 2 years. More to the point what will it be in '3 years?' ;)
2 years is irrelevant for a company not producing before then..perhaps..

Seems the Chinese (Mt Gibson on Koolan are shipping direct to China) so guess the Asian interests mentioned by the company are indeed Chinese.

IO price obviously is a concern though, particularly when one takes into consideration the resources tax with Gillard.

    So lets hope thats sorted.

But I guess before we get ahead of ourselves (very easy to do;) we need to ask the question regarding PLV value/valuation.

Failing some catastrophic event or environmental concern Irvine island will be producing IO.

Whether 'PLV' is doing the mining is another thing.

    So lets get back to the investment of PLV 'as it is'...and as it 'appears' to be becoming;

Its been said well before the recent upgrades (and the ones to come) that PLV was undervalued.

Key point I would have thought.

Now if the 'market' doesnt seem to rate PLV any more than it is...then perhaps other companies looking for add on operations might.
If that did happen the 'value' of PLV may well be more transparent and clear.

I will sit back and watch with interest because from what i can see PLV continues to be multiplying the original 50 odd MT ....to somewhere around and probably exceeding 10+ multiples of that to well over 500 MT...and by comments from the MD perhaps indicated by end of the year.

Or perhaps from the hoped for 130MT resource to one that quadruples that.

    Either way, its considerably bigger.

That means valuations will be too.

And just back to the recently mentioned Mt Gibson....

Might just be a reasonable (and with obvious synergies) fit for an operation that is in very real terms 'next door' and one perhaps looking to grow further.

    Thoughts anyone?
