Not meaning to rain on the parade but i would be very very surprised if there was any government funding coming the VML way. Canada has a rich mining pedigree so to bastardise it via something like this makes no sense. I get some people argue the rare earths / china angle but its more a spruik than reality. There is a ceiling to RE prices and several are trading at their lows currently. As the price goes up alternatives are found, just look at the cobalt story and batteries, or not!
Throw in the change in shareholdings, Directors and management over the last 12 months or so and it paints a picture. Damon Colbert the CFO leaving so quickly also raise a red or possibly white flag. Too many canaries for me.
