So you've read about it. I assume that because you're on a 'religion and philosophy' forum, that you've also studied other aspects of religion and spirituality. And you reject the whole lot of it outright because it's subjective, and no objective proof exists.
Have you ever experienced an emotion like excitement? Can you prove it, or is it 100% private, subjective experience, and lacking in proof?
I know your answer already. It will be that emotions have neural correlates in the brain and that this constitutes objective proof. Mystical states also have neural correlates.
Subjective truth is every bit as real as so-called objective truth.
